Tourist activities to discover around Résidence Vacances Trégunc

The Trégunc Self Catering Resort will inspire you to discover what this dynamic tourist area has to offer. Folklore, local traditions, the Breton culture and the sea air set the tone for your self catering holiday in Brittany! Discover the art of living, the Breton way, with fairy tales, legends, architecture and the local cuisine! In the area surrounding the self catering resort, Concarneau and the “Ville Close” (walled town), the fishing port and yachts are just asking to be seen. Take the time as well, with family or friends, to sink your feet into the powder-soft sand of the vast beach by the ocean. Coming back to the town, discover historic and cultural sites like Pont l’Abbé, the capital of the Bigouden area, or Pont Aven, “the city of painters” where Gauguin has left his mark. Experience the entertainment in the streets of Quimper and visit the Douarnenez canning factories.
Going on holiday in Brittany has never been so fascinating, with its prehistoric ruins, religious monuments, picturesque ports, archetypal “standing stone” houses and walls, bread ovens, menhir stones and museums. Finally, if you love dance you won't want to miss a minute of Fest Noz, the typically Breton nights which are classed as part of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO (during the summer season). By my Breton bagpipes!

Guided tours will introduce you to the treasures of the beautiful Finistère region and the fascinating history of the Bigouden area. Breathe in the invigorating sea air at the Point du Raz, the Crozon peninsula, and Pont-Aven or Quimper. If being in nature is what you’re after, why not set off to discover the local fauna and flora. There are several coastal footpaths extending over more than 23 km, which make for some great short hikes or bike rides.  Trégunc has many natural treasures for you to discover! Together with your kids, you can try out mini-golf, ball and racket sports on the courts and recreation areas within the grounds of the Azureva Trégunc Self Catering Holiday Resort. A kids and teens club is also open during the school holidays, where qualified activity leaders take care of your little ones’ entertainment and cultural education. In the evening, folk dancing is in the spotlight and sets the tone for the resort in true dynamic Breton-style, with Fest Noz (traditional Breton music and dance festival), palet Breton (butter biscuits) and Breton sailor songs. Come and join the dance!
