At an altitude of 1,800 meters, in the heart of the Pyrenees, our vacation home in Piau-Engaly, Aragnouet, offers an idyllic setting with spectacular mountain views. The comfortable accommodation is just a stone’s throw from the attractions of the Pic du Midi ski area. Right in the center of the resort, you’ll be close to hiking trails, mountain bike trails, shops and restaurants in the village. Piau-Engaly, nestled in a natural setting in the heart of the Pyrenees, is a true mountain paradise. The scenery, worthy of the finest Alpine panoramas, offers breathtaking views. Our hotel residence in the Hautes-Pyrénées opens the doors to an unspoilt and grandiose territory.

From our vacation residence in the Hautes-Pyrénées, set out to conquer the treasures of the Pyrenees. The Néouvielle nature reserve, just a few minutes from the hotel, boasts turquoise glacial lakes surrounded by centuries-old hooked pines. The Pyrenees National Park offers hiking trails for all levels, where marmots and isards can be observed. The Gavarnie cirque, a UNESCO-listed area, impresses with its vertiginous cliffs and 423-meter waterfall. For a cultural getaway, Saint-Lary-Soulan will charm you with its lively market and authentic alleyways. Thrill-seekers will appreciate the mountain bike trails down the slopes or the white-water rafting. On the Spanish side, the Ordesa canyon offers spectacular hikes against a backdrop of glowing cliffs. Summer in Piau-Engaly is all about adventure and discovery in the mountains. Hiking to high-altitude lakes, mountain biking, white-water sports or contemplative strolls: the Pyrenees await you in all their splendor. Trails lead you to marmots and isards, while the surrounding valleys abound with activities for the whole family. Between thrills and relaxation, each day is a new invitation to escape. Our Piau-Engaly vacation residence combines all the ingredients for an active and rejuvenating vacation.

SPORTS ACTIVITIES

OPTIONAL

Introduction to rock climbing. Whitewater sports in the Aure valley: canyoning, rafting, hotdog or hydrospeed. Paragliding above the Aure valley. Thrills await you from our hotel residence in the Hautes-Pyrénées.

MULTI-ACTIVITIES

OPTIONAL

Trout fishing. Tennis. Horseback riding. Archery initiation or improvement. Numerous excursions: Spain, Néouvielle nature reserve, Saint-Lary-Soulan. Suspension course in the forest and above the Moudang gorge: accessible from age 8, supervised by an instructor. Half-day introduction to rock climbing with a qualified instructor.

HIKING AND DISCOVERY

Guided hikes in the Pyrenees Park, quad biking and motorcycle trial, Grand Perron des Encombres, mountain biking. Adventure park. Mountaineering, via ferrata, white-water sports (canyoning, rafting, hydrospeed), ULM. An ideal way to explore the area around our vacation home in Piau-Engaly.
