CUSTOMER DATA PROTECTION POLICY
1. AZUREVA’S COMMITMENT TO PRIVACY PROTECTION
Because your satisfaction and the trust you place in us are of paramount importance to us, our top priority is to offer you the best possible stay in our establishments.
As part of our commitment to meeting your expectations, we have implemented apolicy to protect your privacy. The Customer Privacy Policy described below formalizes our commitments and describes how Azureva uses your personal data.
Our commitments described below in article 3 constitute the main rules applicable to all Azureva establishments.
2. CONSENT
By “personal data”, we mean any information collected and recorded in a format that allows you to be personally identified as an individual, either directly (e.g. name) or indirectly (e.g. telephone number). Before sending us any such information, we recommend that you read the rest of this document, which describes our policy on the protection of our customers’ personal data.
This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions governing our services. By accepting our terms and conditions, you expressly agree to the provisions of this Policy.
3. AZUREVA’S COMMITMENT TO PROTECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The commitments below apply to all Azureva establishments.
- Transparency: when we collect and process your personal data, we provide you with all information and inform you of the purpose and recipients of the data.
- Legitimacy: we collect and process your personal data solely for the purposes described in this Policy.
- Relevance and accuracy: we only collect the personal data necessary for data processing. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data we hold is accurate and up-to-date.
- Retention: we retain your personal data for the period necessary to process the data in accordance with legal requirements.
- Access, rectification, opposition: you have the right to access, modify, correct or delete your personal data. You may also object to the use of your personal data, in particular if you do not wish to receive commercial prospecting. Contact details are given below in article 13 “Access and modification”.
- Confidentiality and security: we have implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful alteration or loss, or unauthorized use, disclosure or access.
- Sharing and transfers : we may share your personal data between Azureva’s various establishments or with third parties (such as business partners and/or especially service providers) for the purposes set out in this Policy. We take appropriate measures to ensure the security of such sharing and transfer.

4. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
This Privacy Policyapplies to :
- All data processing carried out in our establishments, i.e. in connection with Azureva services offered to our customers. This list is regularly updated.
- The Azureva booking website: https: //www.azureva-vacances.com and all its existing sub-domains.
Although our customer privacy policies cannot be imposed on our partner establishments, Azureva will use its best efforts to promote the commitments established by this Policy so that our partners comply with applicable laws when processing your personal data.
5. WHAT PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED?
At various times, as an Azureva customer, we may ask you for information about yourself and/or members of your family, such as :
- contact details (e.g. surname, first name, telephone number, email address, etc.);
- personal information (e.g. date of birth, country of residence, language, etc.);
- specific information to be brought to our attention to improve your welcome and the attention we give to your stay (allergies, special needs, etc.);
- information about your children (e.g. first name, date of birth, etc.);
- the possible use of photos or videos produced for marketing programs, games or certain events during your stay in our establishments, subject to prior written authorization covering said use,
- your credit card number, (for transaction and booking purposes);
- your Azureva loyalty program membership number;
- your arrival and departure dates;
- proof of membership or personal situation in the case of certain partnerships granting a number of advantages
- your preferences in our establishments;
- your questions/comments, during or following a stay in one of our establishments.
The collection of information on persons under 18 is restricted to their surname, first name and date of birth, which can only be provided by an adult. Please ensure that your children do not transmit any personal data to us without your permission (particularly via the Internet). In the event of such transmission, you may contact the Personal Data Management department (see “Access and Modification”) to have this information deleted.
We voluntarily do not collect sensitive information, such as racial or ethnic origins, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, health details or sexual orientation.
In addition, depending on applicable local laws, other information may be considered sensitive, including: your credit card number, your hobbies and personal activities, etc…. We may need to collect this information in order to satisfy your requests or provide you with the appropriate service, such as a specific diet.
6. WHEN IS YOUR PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED?
Personal data may be collected on various occasions, including :
- Activities related to stays :
- Pre-booking ;
- Reservations ;
- Registration and payment ;
- Consumption in a bar or restaurant during a stay ;
- Inquiries, claims and/or disputes.
- Participation in marketing programs and events:
- Registration in loyalty programs ;
- Contribution to satisfaction surveys;
- Online contests or games ;
- Subscription to newsletters or emailing campaigns, in order to receive offers and promotions by email.
- Transmission of information from third parties :
- Contract customers, key accounts;
- Tour operators, Travel agencies, Coach operators, GDS reservation systems, others, … ;
- Internet activities :
- Connection to Azureva sites (IP address, cookies) ;
- Online collection forms (personal space, questionnaires, Azureva pages on social networks, login devices such as Facebook Login, etc.).
7. WHAT ARE THE AIMS?
We collect your personal data in order to :
- Fulfilling our obligations to our customers.
- Manage room, gite and campsite reservations and accommodation requests:
- Preparation and conservation of legal documents in compliance with accounting standards;
- Manage your stay in our establishments :
- Track your consumption (bar, activities, etc.)
- Lodging access management
- Internal management of a list of customers who have behaved inappropriately during their stay (aggression and incivilities, non-compliance with internal regulations, non-compliance with safety rules, theft, damage and vandalism or incidents involving regulations).
- Improve our service:
- To process your personal data in our customer marketing program, in order to carry out marketing operations, brand promotion and to gain a better understanding of your needs and wishes;
- Adapt our products and services to best meet your needs;
- Personalize your commercial offers and relational messages;
- Inform you of special offers and new services created by Azureva or one of its partners;
- Manage our relationship with our customers before, during and after your stay:
- Loyalty program management ;
- Qualification of the customer database ;
- Segmentation operations based on customers’ booking history and travel habits to send targeted communications;
- Predicting and anticipating future behavior;
- Statistics, sales scores and reporting;
- Provide contextual data to the offer push tool when a customer visits an Azureva website or makes a reservation;
- Get back in touch with customers when they visit an Azureva website and haven’t finalized their reservation;
- Knowing and managing the preferences of loyal and non-loyal customers;
- Share customer experiences from previous stays through promotional tools;
- To send you newsletters, promotions and offers for tourism, accommodation or services, or offers from Azureva’s partners, or to contact you by telephone;
- Manage requests to unsubscribe from newsletters, promotions, tourism offers and satisfaction surveys;
- Take into account the right to object;
- Use a dedicated telephone service to contact people at Azureva sites in the event of serious events affecting the site concerned (natural disasters, terrorist attacks, etc.);
- Carry out cross-checks, analyses and combinations via a trusted third party of your data collected at the time of booking or during your stay, in order to determine your centers of interest, your customer profile and to enable us to send you personalized offers.
- Enhance Azureva’s services, in particular:
- Studies and analysis of questionnaires and customer feedback;
- Claims management ;
- Enable you to benefit from the advantages of our loyalty program.
- To secure and improve your use of Azureva sites, in particular :
- Improved navigation
- Implementing security and fraud prevention
- Comply with local legislation (e.g. keeping accounting records)
In any case, Azureva does not collect any personal data from its customers for the purpose of reselling files.
8. CONDITIONS OF ACCESS BY THIRD PARTIES TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We strive to offer you the same services in all our establishments. As such, to guarantee your right of access and modification (see “Access and Modification”), we must share your personal data with internal and external recipients, under the following conditions:
a. Within Azureva: In order to provide you with the best service, we may share your personal data and give access to authorized personnel of our entities, including:
- Staff at vacation villages, hotel residences and campsites;
- Reservation staff using Azureva reservation tools ;
- IT Services ;
- Sales partners and marketing services ;
- Medical services if required ;
- Legal services if required ;
- Generally, any person appropriate to Azureva for certain specific categories of personal data.
b. With commercial partners providing services directly to customers and on behalf of Azureva: your personal data may be transferred to a third party in order to provide you with services and improve your stay, in particular :
- Business partners for stay management: Azureva will communicate the personal information required to manage your stay with our partners.
- Service providers or suppliers, subcontractors or partners only, for the supply of tickets/packages/entrance fees or equipment, or the provision of external services purchased by customers (excursions, sporting or cultural activities, transport, etc.): Azureva will communicate only the personal information necessary for the proper provision of the service, in terms of personal identification, any prior authorizations (particularly those relating to minors) and, in particular, security.
c. With service providers and business partners: your personal data may be transferred to a third party in order to provide you with services and enhance your stay, including:
- External service providers: IT subcontractors, subcontractors used in the operation of our facilities, call centers, banks, insurance companies, credit card issuers, external lawyers, routers, printers.
- Business partners: Azureva may enrich your profile by sharing certain information about you with its preferred business partners, unless you object to this by contacting the Personal Data Management department. In this case, your data may be cross-referenced, analyzed and combined via a trusted third party. This processing will enable Azureva and its privileged contractual partners to determine your centers of interest, your customer profile and allow us to send you personalized offers.
d. Local authorities: we may also transmit your information to local authorities, if required by law or as part of an investigation and in accordance with local regulations.
9. PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA DURING INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
For the purposes set out in Article 7 of this Privacy Policy, we may transfer your personal data to external recipients who may be located in countries offering different levels of personal data protection.
Therefore, in addition to the implementation of this Policy, Azureva implements appropriate measures to secure the transfer of your personal data to an external recipient that is located in a country offering a level of protection different from that offered in the country in which the personal data is collected.
Data flows to countries that do not offer equivalent personal data protection are governed by the standard contractual clauses between data controller and data processor defined by the European Commission.
10. DATA SECURITY
Azureva takes appropriate technical and organizational measures, in accordance with applicable legal provisions, to protect your personal data against unlawful or accidental destruction, accidental loss or alteration, or unauthorized disclosure or access. To this end, we have implemented technical measures (such as firewalls) and organizational measures (such as an ID/password system, physical protection measures, etc.).
When you transmit credit card information when booking, TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption technology is used to secure your transactions. Similarly, when collecting and transmitting information on our website, TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption technology is also used to secure your personal data.
11. COOKIES
Azureva uses cookies on its online booking site. To find out more about Azureva’s use of cookies and how to set them, please consult our Cookie Policy.
12. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy or as required by applicable law.
13. ACCESS AND MODIFICATION
You have the right to access and modify your personal data collected by Azureva, subject to applicable legal provisions.

In the interests of confidentiality and the protection of your personal data, we will need to identify you in order to respond to your request. To do this, you will be asked to enclose a copy of an official identity document such as your ID card or passport.
If your personal data is not accurate, complete or up to date, please notify the changes to the Personal Data Management department indicated above.
All requests will be processed as quickly as possible and in accordance with applicable law.
To exercise your rights with regard to your personal data stored and processed by a given establishment following a stay, you must contact the Personal Data Management department exclusively.
