Skiing in the Alps

Tour the Mercantour National Park
Nestled between the Alpes de Haute Provence and the Alpes-Maritimes, the Mercantour National Park is well worth a visit. Nature lovers will be delighted to be able to admire over 3,000 animal and plant species so easily. In fact, the park boasts the greatest biodiversity in France!

The Mercantour Park boasts no less than 600 kilometers of marked trails! Hardened walkers can tackle part of the GR5, attempt the Alpi Maritime or the Grande Traversée du Mercantour. Families will prefer to take a day hike to Lac d’Allos, at an altitude of 2,230 meters, which is easier to access thanks to its low-level trails. In fact, it’s the largest natural high-altitude lake in Europe!
