Saint-Tropez for its chic beaches

Saint-Tropez is a chic, world-famous Mediterranean seaside resort. This mythical former fishing village is full of charm, with its pretty port and narrow streets. The Gulf of Saint-Tropez also boasts some magnificent beaches, including the Salins, the Canoubiers and the Moutte. To get away from the crowds and get on with your holiday, don’t hesitate to visit the surrounding towns, including Ramatuelle and Sainte-Maxime, which are also well worth a visit!

In Marseille for its calanques

To take in the sights, head for Marseille and its calanques! The city is home to the Parc National des Calanques, made up of two massifs: the Puget massif and the Marseilleveyre massif. Marseille is home to 25 of the 26 calanques, including one in Cassis. It’s a hiker’s paradise, as the entire calanques domain covers 5,000 hectares, with 25 kilometers of coastline between Marseille and Cassis, and 145 km of marked trails.

In Cassis for its charm and calanques (too)

Cassis is a charming Mediterranean village nestled between Cap Canaille (Europe’s highest sea cliff) and the white limestone Calanques. It’s impossible not to spend a few days here during your vacation, wandering through its narrow streets, visiting its vineyards, or hiking in its calanques…

In Fréjus for its architecture

Lovers of old buildings will be delighted in Fréjus, which has been declared a Ville d’Art et d’Histoire (Town of Art and History). The town’s historical and architectural heritage is rich in Roman remains: arenas, theater, aqueduct… you’re bound to fall under the spell of its old town, its 11th-century cathedral and its 5th-century baptistery, considered to be the oldest in France. After this enriching historical visit to admire the buildings of yesteryear, head for Port-Fréjus and Fréjus-Plage for a relaxing swim!

In Grau-du-Roi, at the gateway to the Camargue

Le Grau-du-Roi enjoys 300 days of sunshine a year, and its 10 km Espiguette beach is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts… This seaside resort also has the advantage of being at the gateway to the Camargue, where you can admire its wild spaces and thousands of pink flamingos… As you can see, Le Grau-du-Roi is the ideal Mediterranean destination for a guaranteed change of scenery!

Le Lavandou for its 12 beaches

Located at the foot of the Massif des Maures, Le Lavandou has the scent of Provence and boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in France: Aiguebelette, Anglade, Cap-Nègre, Rossignol, L’Éléphant… in all, 12 fine sandy beaches along 12 km of coastline! This authentic fishing village appeals to nature-lovers and sports enthusiasts alike, thanks to its water sports activities.

On the Mediterranean islands

There’s no need to go to the ends of the earth to escape to paradise islands… France has several magnificent islands in the Mediterranean where you can spend unforgettable vacations. Corsica isn’t called the “Isle of Beauty” by chance: Bastia, Porto-Vecchio… you’re bound to find the perfect spot among its magical beaches, crystal-clear waters and breathtaking scenery.

The island of Porquerolles is also a paradise, as is the archipelago of the islands of Hyères, with Port-Cros and its turquoise waters, whose landscapes alternate between forests, cliffs and scrubland… you’re sure to be won over!
