European Night at the Museums (the Resistance and Cher Deportation Museum in Bourges, Berry, Estève, Sologne and the American camps, and Napoléon III). Sully-sur-Loire Festival. Franco-Scottish Festival in Aubigny-sur-Nère. Les Nuits Lumières (light show) in Bourges. Year of François I in the châteaux of the Loire.
A whole host of talented performers, with headliners performing on stage, while over 200 performers take over the town’s streets and bars, where they put on free shows!

Points of interest for heritage and culture: the locks and bridge on the Briare canal, Pôle des étoiles planetarium and the famous Shortbread factory in Nançay, underground city and the Bourré mushroom farms, Guédelon medieval castle construction site, where the castle is being built with techniques and materials from the 13th century, the potters’ village in La Borne, Beauval Zoo, the Vierzon National Cabaret... Activity spots: international go-carting and the Equidia park in Salbris, the Adventure Park and golf course in Nançay, the Etang du Puy water sports centre. The Indre and the Cher have now combined to form one tourist destination to visit, now called Le Berry!
